A Schnauzerfest checklist for organising your Woofternoon Tea
FUNDRAISING
We suggest asking your guests for donations rather than a set fee. People can participate and give what they are comfortable with. But the choice is yours, it’s your Woofternoon Tea. We have a downloadable donation box here which you can make up. Or, you could open a link here on Justgiving and ask for online donations. This might appeal to those who can’t attend but would love to support you. If you would like to use our logo you can download our ‘In Aid of Schnauzerfest’ logo here, and the Woofternoon Tea image here.
Transferring your donations to us
If you collect cash donations, please contact us after your event for our bank details. Alternatively, you can send to us here referencing ‘Woofternoon Tea’.

KEEP IT SIMPLE, KEEP IT LEGAL
Your Woofternoon Tea party can be done however you want to do it. It might be at home, in your workplace, a local park, a secure dog field, on the beach, a community hall, a residential home, a garden, wherever suits you. If you’re in a public place check the rules around permissions, licences and fundraising. If serving alcohol outside your home, carefully check the rules on licencing. If you are selling food it is essential that you label for allergens.
If dogs are present cater only with dog-friendly biscuits and bakes. Check with guests that their dogs can eat what you offer. Always ask permission before feeding any dog that is not your own.
