Shadow was found on the street by a stranger. She was a stray dog with no microchip to say who she belonged to. Nobody knew who she was. She was in a very bad state. Her coat was filthy, matted and smelly. She was taken to the local rescue centre who took great care of Shadow. They bathed her and clipped her coat to tidy it up. Cleaned her eyes and ears which were blocked and infected. She went to the vet and had her teeth cleaned. When she had been through all of that, she was like a brand new dog. She was also a very happy dog and loved people despite of what might have happened to her on the street. It wasn’t long before the rescue centre found her a new family to live with where she is very happy indeed.
