Enid

Enid has recently been adopted by Kimberley, having left the breeding industry. Fortunately for Enid she has few of the issues which many dogs carry with them from that background and she is settling in well. She was spayed and vaccinated before her adoption, with full costs supported by a Schnauzerfest Grant to Friends of Rescue Wales.

I couldn’t imagine it going any better. She’s still nervous of things, but is being super brave. Her and her new brother Laszlo are getting along great. He’s being so gentle. She’s not quite playing yet, but she’s learning a lot from him. It’s so cute when she charges after him when he’s seen a squirrel and she clearly has no clue what they are chasing!

We’ve been introducing experiences like taking short drives to build up her car confidence. It’s usually to the park where she gets to run about on her longline. She’s keen to say hi to dogs in the park and we’ve also had a couple of playdates with Laz’s doggo friends. Enid has taken everything in her stride and I can’t wait to see her blossom with more confidence.”
