Millie supports Schnauzerfest in a variety of ways every year, including organising her own fundraising activities.
Often accompanied by husband Matt and their dogs, Millie is very involved in the local community. In 2019 with friends she organised a local Paws in the Park event and Pengefest - a local beer festival - and at each had a stall for Schnauzerfest. Raising funds and awareness for the charity.
At the start of the first lockdown caused by Covid-19 Millie joined the ink cartridge recycling scheme which raises money for Schnauzerfest. Through her local community groups Millie arranges regular collections of people’s cartridges. It raises regular money for the charity and helps the planet at the same time.
Other events Millie and Matt organise include an orange food themed Halloween style event for local friends, regular fun dog shows, Millie cooks up jars and jars of marmalade selling at shows, walks, to friends and family. Everything is done with a great sense of fun and community.
