Northumberland Dog Rescue are caring for 8 and 9 year old miniature schnauzers Anousha, Shimmi and Esther. Anousha has just been spayed, had a mammary lump removed and had a welcome dental. The tests for the lump came back as a low grade tumour but the treating vets are optimistic that it will not reoccur and there is no spread. She's feeling quite sorry for herself at the moment but nothing that time, love and patience won’t improve, she is getting all this from her loving carers.
Shimmi has also had a dental and his castration and hasn’t looked back. He’s doing very well. Esther came into season so her spay has been delayed, in the meantime she is happy in her foster home.
A full Schnauzerfest Grant is supporting the rescue with veterinary costs.
JULY 2024
Rhuby has now joined the others into the expert care of the rescue. When she arrived it was clear she had not received care such as dental work, her mouth was full of rotten teeth. All her medical needs were quickly taken care of and she recovered well, and is now looking for her new, loving and dedicated home.
